I absolutely loved photographing the Dickerson family up in Hobble Creek Canyon in Springville, Utah. This location has quickly become one of my new favorite spots because of its lush greenery and gorgeous mountain scenery.

The Dickerson family went with a super neutral color palette of whites and creams. It looked stunning against the vibrant greens of the canyon. Their outfits felt timeless and soft, making the photos feel clean and cohesive without ever feeling overly styled.
Golden Hour Glow
We shot during golden hour, and the golden backlight coming through the trees was dreamy. It added such warmth and depth to every image, creating that signature soft, golden glow I love for family photos.
Capturing Playful Personalities
Their kids were so fun and playful with each other. I loved capturing their cute personalities as they laughed, ran around, and snuggled with mom and dad. Lots of parents worry when their kids don’t just stand still and smile perfectly for photos, but I actually prefer to take a playful, relaxed approach.
