There’s something so timeless and fun about kids studio sessions, especially when it’s just siblings being themselves. This session took place in my Provo, Utah home studio with a brother and sister duo who were so sweet with each other and full of personality.
Neutral Tones + Playful Patterns
Mom did such a great job styling their outfits – mixing neutral tones with soft patterns for a look that felt polished but still playful. I always say that wardrobe sets the tone for a shoot, and this one hit the perfect balance.
Getting Comfortable in Front of the Camera
These two were ages 2 and 4, and like most sessions with littles, it took a little while for little brother to warm up. But with patience (and a few of my tried-and-true tricks), we got genuine smiles and plenty of sweet moments. I know parents sometimes worry about whether their kiddo will “cooperate,” but I promise – even the grumpiest kids usually come around.
Capturing Connection + Personality
What made this session extra special was the bond between these two. They clearly adore each other, and I loved documenting them just playing and interacting naturally. Whether it was a silly hug or chasing each other across the studio, those are the moments that truly matter.
